Managing Challenges in the Social Housing Sector
Newry-based Bluezone Technologies is a specialist software company that develops unique and innovative products for the management of compliance, supply chain, safety and eLearning.
They are experts in helping organisations become more efficient in managing and monitoring their compliance to ensure requirements are met and risks managed.
CEO of Bluezone Technologies, Adrian Byrne, has 20 years’ experience as the founder of HBE, a leader in both health and safety and environmental compliance.
Adrian saw the need for an integrated software system and began developing Bluezone’s Manager software several years ago. He set up Bluezone Technologies in 2016 and the company has already garnered many accolades, including recognition at the UTV Business Eye Awards.
Working with several Northern Ireland housing associations both large and small, Bluezone understands the challenges involved in ensuring that many regulations and compliance standards are adhered to, Adrian commented:
“Managing the compliance and safety of a housing association is no mean feat. We recognise the effective management of assets is crucial as well as the need to work with safe and compliant suppliers. Combined with the time and budget constraints, an effective EHS system is crucial”.
Bluezone Technologies Manager system also allows housing associations the vital feature of being able to add modules as and when budgets allow,
Stephen Sheridan, Business Development Executive at Bluezone Technologies, added:
“The Organisation module is the most popular, used to store/share documents, training records, staff details etc. The Supply Chain module is then added to ensure an association’s supply chain is safe and compliant. The software is very easy to use but is powerful in assisting in the management of the association, especially as the number of properties grow. Offering huge time savings, the software places control firmly in the hands of the associations.”
